Why renters choose Arlington

Arlington sits squarely between Dallas and Fort Worth, and its north side is anchored by Viridian — a roughly 2,000-acre master-planned community built around Johnson Creek and Lake Viridian. The community's amenity center, tennis courts and more than 500 acres of lakes, wetlands and trails give it a distinct, resort-like feel that's unusual for an apartment address this close to the DFW entertainment corridor. Arlington itself is known citywide for AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Texas Live! and Six Flags Over Texas, all a short drive from Viridian.

Getting around

Viridian sits near SH-360 and Green Oaks Boulevard, which connect to I-30 for access into both Dallas and Fort Worth. From The Jackson at Viridian, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field and the Texas Live! entertainment district are roughly 10–15 minutes away, and Six Flags Over Texas is a similar drive.

Viridian: a different kind of Arlington neighborhood

Viridian is one of the newer master-planned communities in North Texas, built around preserved wetlands, Johnson Creek and the man-made Lake Viridian rather than laid out as a conventional subdivision. Its trail system — roughly 8 miles paved, plus about 10 miles of additional mountain-biking trail — connects directly into the City of Arlington's River Legacy Park, a 1,031-acre forest park along the Trinity River. It's a different feel from Arlington's stadium-district image, even though AT&T Stadium and Six Flags are only minutes away.

Viridian's own trail system connects directly into the City of Arlington's River Legacy Park — a 1,031-acre forest park along the Trinity River about 1.3 miles from The Jackson at Viridian — with miles of paved and natural trails for walking dogs (leashed, per city park rules).
