Living in Dallas

Central, connected and amenity-rich, the Midtown/North Dallas area keeps you close to the Galleria, business corridors and the whole metroplex.

Why renters choose North Dallas / Midtown

The Midtown and North Dallas area is one of the most central places to live in the metroplex — close to the Galleria, major employment corridors along the tollway, and abundant retail and dining. It's a practical, well-connected base for renters working across Dallas.

Getting around

The Dallas North Tollway, US-75 and LBJ Freeway (I-635) all serve the area, with DART rail nearby — making downtown, Uptown and the northern suburbs easy to reach.

Living here

Two communities serve this part of Dallas: Luxia Midtown Park and Ross + Peak, both Class A. Live pricing and availability are on each community's own site.

Luxia Midtown Park sits in Vickery Meadow, one of Dallas's most established and diverse neighborhoods — a dense, walkable pocket about ten miles northeast of downtown that has long served as an immigrant-gateway community with its own long-running civic and retail life. It's a genuinely central address, close to the Galleria and the tollway job corridors covered above, in a part of Dallas with real depth and history.

Ross + Peak sits at the edge of downtown and Old East Dallas, about a mile from Deep Ellum, the city's historic live-music and nightlife district, and a short drive from the boutiques and restaurants of Knox-Henderson a few miles north. It's a walkable, urban option for renters who want nightlife and dining minutes away rather than a highway drive, while still sitting close to the Galleria job corridor above.

Pet-friendly living near Ross + Peak

Barry Annino Bark Park, the City of Dallas's fenced off-leash dog park at 2445 Canton St near Deep Ellum, is about 1.4 miles from Ross + Peak — the closer of the two communities on this page to it, given the several-mile gap between Ross + Peak and Luxia Midtown Park. Each community's own pet policy (fees, breed guidelines) is covered in our DFW pet-friendly apartments guide.
